Q. What kind of services do you provide?

A: Home Care Angels provides personal care services as well as companion care. Our in-home care services are designed to provide assistance with those activities that elders need help with in order to stay in the comfort and safety of their. Our in-home care services include assistance with: fall prevention, medication reminders, light exercise, cognitive activities, light housekeeping, laundry & linen changes or bathing assistance, grocery shopping and running errands.

 

Q: Do you provide services in assisted living facilities?

A: Yes. When entering an assisted living environment, people sometimes realize that the assistance provided in an assisted living facility is not adequate enough to enable them to remain independent. Home Care Angels provides an experienced caregiver to make this possible for them to keep their independence for as long as possible.

 

Q: How quickly can in-home care services get started?

A: We are able to provide in-home services within a 48-hour period if not sooner

 

Q: Does Medicare pay for any in-home care services?

A: No. Medicare is only for medical situations, it does not pay for non-medical assistance or housing. If you are in need of assistance you may look into Long-term Care Insurance or if you or your spouse was a Veteran you can apply for assistance though the U.S. Veterans Affairs Administration.

 

Q: How do I start home care services with Home Care Angels?

A: All you need to do is call 847-824-5221 and speak one of our Experienced Client Care Coordinators. After taking some information on what is needed, we will make an appointment to come to you and conduct a free, no obligation assessment. We will then bring an experienced caregiver, who fits your personality and your needs for you to meet. Home Care Angels will provide you with the caregiver’s references, background check, fingerprints, and current training documents for you to look over. And if you approve, the caregiver will begin working for you.
